Analyzing Manhattan's edge, its bedrock formation and geological stratification allows to trace back our biological identity within our Natural History. Thus, with this institution, I intend to create a new artificial and geological landscape, that begins under the Hudson River as an existent geological stratification but as it continues to build up above the river, it collects and gathers traces that help redefine itself as a new geological condition. The institution defines a new edge to the city as it is constantly mutating and adapting to the changing state of the Hudson river recording new traces.
