A sequence of chemical experimentation reveals the transformation of matter. Throughout the process of mixing, foaming, freezing and defrosting, the material exposes its fundamental characteristics and as a result, produces new emergent patterns. Gathering a series of these patterns allows for a specific analysis of these emergent bodies. Thus, a dual mapping system is developed. This system is generated from a precise set of rules that function separately in plan and in section. By layering the diverse information collected, a new form, texture and object is generated.
